Is there wifi in this tunnel? - Daphne and Mettannah

Today was long and hot. It was not a problem for Mettannah's runners to be soaked in Hezekiah's tunnel, they dried quickly.

We saw the excavation of King David's Palace which was really cool. It's crazy to think that while these things have been destroyed, they're still there after so many years.

We (minus one Calgarian clostrophobe) next hustled through Hezekiah's Tunnel. The tunnel was very narrow inside and became so short that even Mettannah had to duck down (she wanted you all to know)! It was about a twenty minute walk and we finished it off with some cave-singing.
The next tunnel took us to the Davidson Archaelogical Gardens, and after that we took a tunnel to the Kotel tunnel tour. In those tunnels, you can see some really big rocks that were part of the original Second Temple. When we got out of the tunnel (the final tunnel), we had some time at the Kotel. Because it is during Pesach, it was really busy. It was kind of hard to find a place, but after managing to wedge our way in, we were finally right there. It's so hard to believe that we were finally at the holiest site to Jews.

After some shopping in the Jewish Quarter, we were taken to the Rooftop of the World. We sat and were able to see the four quarters of the Old City. We were all exhausted and tired of walking after this point (don't forget the jumping photos) so we headed back to the hostel. It was a pretty low key night so we could get some rest for tomorrow's jam packed schedule. Look for the update tomorrow!
