After a couple of pleasant flights, we are here safely and getting to the good stuff. We hopped on a bus and over to Armon ha'Netziv, a lookout over Jerusalem, where we said Shehechyanu and did a little group bonding with the Calgarians. The weather's not great but the company and the programming are what we really came for. We have a very nice, knowledgeable tour guide named Hadar, and two other chaperones - from Calgary - named Moshe and Alexa. You can also follow the CJA blog at http://cjaisrael2015.blogspot.ca
I hope that you will enjoy reading about our adventures over the next 17 days, and that you'll keep us updated on events at home. I hope to have the kids writing this blog for the most part, and promise to post plenty of photographs. For now, we're here, safe, and happy. Let the fun begin....
