Five thousand new tourists arrived in Israel today from the
March of the Living. None of them were at the Banias, but I think the rest of
the tourists in the country were! It was veeeery crowded but we ended up having
a really nice hike. If you've never been to the Banias, you gotta go. It pretty
much rivals the Rockies for waterfalls and trees, serious! But the views didn't
stop there.
Next stop was the jeep rides. Somehow no one got motion
sick, so we just cruised around the Golan looking down into Israel and blasting
tunes. There was a picnic lunch, and that was pretty much it! I didn't get to
go to Har Bental with everybody, so I can't tell ya how that was. I would
imagine pretty nice, and Dafna said everyone was OK. So they were released to
their hosting families. I hear there is a group barbeque tonight. For this one,
well, I don't really have a lot to say except everyone continues to have an
excellent experience and they are continuing to connect really well with the
Israeli kids.
So have a look at the pictures and you will understand much
better! Tomorrow is rafting and closing programs with the Israelis. Hard to
believe the mifgash is almost over!
